ALESSANDRO PAPOTTO (Voice, Saxophone, Flute, Percussions)
EDOARDO PETRETTI (Keyboards, Synths)
GIOVANNI TOMMASI (Electric & Acoustic Guitar)

The rock band was born in Rome in 1993 from the meeting between the multi-instrumentalist and singer Alessandro Papotto (BANCO del Mutuo Soccorso), the bassist Claudio Braico, the guitarist Giovanni Tommasi, the keyboardist Bruno Vegliante, and the drummer Tony Zito. From 2016 the keyboardist Edoardo Petretti joins the group to replace Bruno Vegliante and, sometimes, the violinist Alberto D’annibale (former member of the band from 1998 to 2003) also joins in concert.

The repertoire consists of a kaleidoscope of colors ranging from Jazz-Rock to Psychedelic Rock, passing through Progressive Rock and World Music. The band has so far released four studio albums and four live albums with recordings of concerts held in Italy, Portugal and Belgium.

Among the publications stands out the box set in cd and dvd “Prog Exhibition” recorded live at the Tendastrisce Theater in Rome where the group shared the stage with Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull), John Wetton (King Crimson), Premiata Forneria Marconi and Banco del Mutuo Soccorso. Some internationally renowned musicians such as Mauro Pagani (PFM), Francesco Di Giacomo, Vittorio Nocenzi and Rodolfo Maltese (BANCO), Luca Sapio (AREA) and many others have played in studio and live with Periferia Del Mondo.
